About VaultlyApps

Practical software, built by one developer who uses it too

VaultlyApps is an independent software studio. It designs, builds and maintains practical apps and digital tools — starting with a family of private personal-finance and landlord apps.

What is VaultlyApps?

VaultlyApps is an independent software studio founded in 2026 by developer Mohammad Ali. It designs, builds, tests and maintains practical software: web applications that install like native apps, tools for small businesses, and — over time — mobile apps, utilities and other digital products.

The studio's first products are six apps for everyday money jobs: Vault, a personal finance dashboard; Flow, a budget planner designed for ADHD; Zero, a debt payoff planner; Nest, a savings challenge tracker; Pulse, a bill and subscription tracker; and RentRoll, a dashboard for small landlords. Each one has a free live demo.

Our mission

To make useful software that people can understand, trust and keep. That means tools that solve a specific problem, explain how they work, respect the people who use them, and stay maintained after launch.

What we build

  • Web applications — progressive web apps that run in any modern browser, install on a phone or computer without an app store, and keep working offline.
  • Personal finance tools — budgeting, debt payoff, savings and bill tracking, designed to be calm rather than stressful.
  • Business software — focused tools for small operators, such as landlords, who need clear records without enterprise complexity.
  • Utilities and tools — small, single-purpose programs that remove a recurring chore.

New categories, including Android apps, construction technology and AI tools, are planned. They'll appear on the site when there is real work to show — not before.

How we build software

  1. Start with one real problem. Every project begins with a specific, recurring frustration — a budget that never balances, a free trial that turns into a charge, a rent payment nobody recorded. If we can't describe the problem in a sentence, we don't build the product.
  2. Design it to be its own thing. Each app gets its own visual identity and interaction model, chosen to fit its job, instead of a reused template.
  3. Test on real devices. Apps are tested on phones and laptops, in light and dark mode, online and offline, before release.
  4. Explain the numbers. Where an app calculates something — a safe-to-spend amount, a debt-free date — it shows how the figure was worked out.
  5. Keep improving. Releases are followed by updates, and feedback from people using the apps decides what comes next.

Our approach to privacy

The current apps have no account system and no bank connection. Data is stored on the user's own devices. When someone links a phone and a laptop, data is encrypted on the device before it travels between them, so the relay in the middle can't read it. We think that's how personal finance software should work by default.

What we promise

  • Honest status. Every project page shows whether it is live, in beta, in development, coming soon or archived, with release and update dates.
  • No invented claims. You won't find made-up user counts, awards or testimonials on this site.
  • Try before you decide. Where a product has a live demo, it's linked from the project page.
  • A real person replies. Messages sent through the contact page are read and answered by the developer.
